Crikey! What a year! I hope you've been keeping safe and well in these crazy times.
I wanted to finish 2020 by thanking all of you so much for supporting my writing. It means the world to me that you enjoy the travails of Luke Bales and his mates.
Speaking of Luke, work is proceeding apace on the third installment in the series. I hope to release it in the first quarter of next year, pandemics and other crises notwithstanding. I don't want to give too much away, but I can tell you that the novel sees Luke open his second bar in Brooklyn and, of course, get embroiled in the kind of mischief that only New York City can provide.
Outside of Lazarus, the second book in the Luke Bales series, 2020 also saw the release of The Diary of Lee Harvey Oswald. It's a very different novel to the Luke Bales books but if you're interested in the JFK assassination it does take a look at that dark period in U.S. history from a unique angle. It was a fantastic creative exercise and I wholeheartedly enjoyed researching and writing it.
Anyway...I'll sign off now by wishing you all a significantly better 2021. And, if I may be so bold, by asking you to write a review for any of my novels that you've read (if you haven't already). Good or bad, two words or two thousand, I really don't mind. Reviews are what writers love!
On ya.
Simon
